Apple’s New iPad is Compatible with 4G LTE, HSPA+

As accurately predicted by a variety of sources including the Wall Street Journal and iMore, the new iPad is compatible with 4G LTE cellular networks. In the United States, the tablet will be available in two seperate models for AT&T and Verizon Wireless respectively, while the LTE-capable tablet will also be compatible with carriers Bell, Rogers, and Telus in Canada. The new iPad also now supports HSPA+ and dual-channel HSDPA. Additionally, Apple noted that the iPad is at least 3G-ready worldwide and can now be used as a personal hotspot if your carrier supports that feature. Check out a carrier map just ahead…
